41204_42505_0.pngFirstClass ED delivery: Self-paced vs. collaborative

FirstClass ED can be used in one of two ways. You can use it in distance learning as a self-paced tool, or as a collaborative classroom designed for participation between instructors, students, and even parents.

The Course Content area in FirstClass ED allows you to provide timed delivery of lessons and assignments. Students can work at their own pace, and use FirstClass ED to access a rich environment of materials and objectives. This is an ideal environment for distance learning or correspondence classes, where students decide how long it will take them to complete their class.

FirstClass ED is designed to support interactive participation between members through sharable materials, discussions, and live meetings. You can use the Discussions area to set up group project conferences, the Resources area to provide tutorials and supplemental material, the Course Content area to provide lessons and assignments, a chat room to hold online "teacher hours", and the classroom roster to track marks.
